Do I need a college degree to be a pilot?
You don’t need a degree to get a Private Pilot License
How long does it take to become a pilot?
It depends on you, generally you are expected to obtain a license in 3-4 month period.
What pilot training programs are available?
We provide a PPL course in order to train the student pilot to act as PIC or co-pilot under the Visual Flight Rules.
Do I need to be proficient in English?
You need to demonstrate at least ICAO English Level 4, it tests your ability to communicate both face to face and over the radio about routine and non routine situations.
Where will I have ground training?
We have class rooms in the centrum of city Gabrovo also in class rooms the Flight airfield “Alfa-Metal-Gabrovo” or distance learning.
Where will I have flight training?
DTO Sky solution use as base certified airfield Alfa-Metal Gabrovo
Training flights may land at other aerodromes during the course of training, but normally training sessions begin and end at the base aerodrome.

When can I start taking the CAA Ground exams?
After finishing ground training and successfully passing test at Sky solution, you are allowed to take the CAA Ground exams.
Can I take the CAA Ground exam any day?
It solely depends on your appointment and depends on the schedule of taking the examinations at the CAA
When should I take the ICAO English test?
We kindly ask you to take ICAO English language proficiency test before the start of the flight training.
